If you want to learn how to dive but don’t know how, try Cooly Dive. Explore Cook Island and see the abundance of tropical fish, sea turtles, and many more.
Cooly Dive offers the Open Water Diver Course which runs for three to four days. There’s also the half- day scuba dive for people who don’t want to commit to a full course.
For the Open Water Diver Course, the class size is limited to make sure everyone gets one on one time with the instructor. On the first day, there will be briefing, orientation, training, and a trial dive at the pool. From day two onwards, you will dive in open water. Complete four open water dives at Cook Island.
Cook Island features an amazing diversity of marine life. See spectacular subtropical and tropical species of fish. You will also see crayfish and shrimp. You might even get to swim with migratory shark species such as blind sharks, shovel nose sharks, leopard sharks, grey nurse, and wobbegongs depending on the time of the year. You will find green and loggerhead turtles in the reserve. Take beautiful pictures of the vibrant marine life and the colorful coral gardens.
At the end of the course, you will become comfortable and confident in the water.
Cooly Dive has a pickup and dropoff service from your hotel to the Cooly Dive shop and the boat. For a small additional fee, you may be picked up from Coolangatta near our Beachfront Accommodation Gold Coast. All cruises depart the Private Jetty at Coolangatta and Tweed Heads Golf Club.
